The Steam Winter Sale is going on until January 3rd/4th, so here are 10 games we think you should check out while they’re still on sale!

Overcooked 2

A fun cooperative game where four chefs make dishes in a zany kitchen. Teamwork and communication are key to navigating each stage. Warning: you and your friends will be panicking and shouting at each other – a lot.

Celeste

Originating from a game jam, this wonderful little gem is a platformer from the same creators as TowerFall. Wish we had more quality indie games like this.

Tabletop Simulator

Ever wanted to play board games with your friends without the hassle of actually having to leave the comfort of your home and meet them at a board game cafe or someone’s house? Problem solved. Tabletop simulator lets you play all sorts of board games with friends from around the world. With lots of mods easily available, this is a great game for anyone looking to get into board games. As an added bonus, you can flip the table in rage on your friends without actually having to do any of the cleanup involved.

Stardew Valley

A passion project of one man, Stardew Valley is a farming and community simulator game similar to Animal Crossing – but for PC. A soothing and relaxing game, Stardew Valley is still being updated for free with no pesky paid DLCs despite being released in early 2016! We even got a cooperative multiplayer mode in 2018 and are looking forward to the next big update. Definitely one of the best value for money games on the market.

Football Manager 2019

Football Manager 2019 is the ultimate simulator for football fanatics who love the behind the scene stuff. FM 2019 is widely considered the best of the series so far, allowing you to deep-dive into tactics, training, transfers, and all other aspects of running a football club. Could you be the next Arsene Wenger, Jose Mourinho, or Pep Guardiola?

Rocket League

Rocket League is a 3v3 football match in a dome – except instead of controlling footballers, you control…rocket-powered cars, hence the name. A quick paced and easy to learn game, you can fit in a round on your break or have a mini tournament with friends for hours. This is one of those games that everyone can have fun with, whether they’re a hardcore or casual gamer.

Hitman 2

Hitman 2 is a stealth games that demands all of your attention. With immersive and engaging gameplay that sucks you in, you might find yourself asking where all the time has gone – especially once you reach the multiplayer and ghost modes. This is possibly the closest we are going to get to a perfect Hitman game.

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Arguably the best modern role-playing game, take control of Geralt once again in this high fantasy, open, and immersive world. Just don’t expect to be Superman with a fuzzy lip – yet.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition

A great single player or co-op role-playing game, explore the world in this vast Dungeons & Dragons-esque game.

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection

This collection contains Borderlands 2, a bunch of DLC, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for a great price. A great co-op and distinctive role-playing game/shooter, this is one that should be in everyone’s steam library.
